Accounting and Auditing
From your records we can prepare periodic statements of financial performance, accounts to meet management or banking requirements, and full annual accounts of your business in the format stipulated by statute and best accounting practice.  

Business development   
We can assist you with the preparation of all aspects of the business plan, provide introductions to appropriate sources of financial assistance, advice on the structure of the business from both the legal and tax viewpoint and guide you through the minefield of formalities required to correctly establish a business in an increasingly regulated age.    

We can assist with the completion of your annual Income Tax Return, checking (and appealing where necessary) taxation assessments, completion of ‘Pay and File’ documentation for limited companies and perform a full taxation service to ensure you are up to date and taking advantage of all reliefs and allowances relevant to you or your business. We can advise on tax planning measures in connection with Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, P.A.Y.E., Inheritance Tax  and National Insurance Contributions. Should you get into difficulties with the Inland Revenue or Customs and Excise we can provide you with the assistance and expertise required to conclude matters at minimal cost and inconvenience.

We can provide you with a book-keeping service ranging from the completion of VAT returns to the provision of full management accounts for businesses and companies of all sizes. This includes the provision of accounting information to satisfy the requirements of HM Customs and Excise, the Inland Revenue and, where relevant, the Companies Acts. We also provide a full payroll bureau service. In addition to providing a bureau service we can design and train you or your staff to maintain all the financial records required of your business or company by the statutory bodies. The aim is to establish a system, either manual or computerised, that will achieve the best result you want in the simplest and most cost-effective manner.

Status Enquiries
We are experts in keeping your sub-contractors self-employed. You are under no obligation to make them employees as the Inland Revenue would have you believe. This applies to any business but especially those in the construction industry and those using ‘one man’ limited companies as consultants

Sub-contractors’ accounts
With currently over 200 subcontract clients we are acknowledged  experts in this area. We provide record books, instruction and take care of all your dealings with the Inland Revenue. In fact we provide the same standard of service to sub-contractors as to our largest corporate clients – which is why we have so many. We have established a separate department and the work is undertaken on a fixed cost basis.

Company formations
We can advise you on the structure of your business, sole trader, partnership or limited company. For limited companies we can oversee the acquisition of a company correctly constituted to meet your needs and requirements.

Company Secretarial
We can assist your company secretary by assuring that the Statutory Books of the company are kept up to date and all returns are filed with the Registrar of Companies in a timely manner avoiding fines and penalties.

Business Planning
We can assist you with your business planning and the provision of cash flow and other financial forecasts as part of that work or on its own, for example in support of a request for borrowing from your bankers. To do so requires an in-depth knowledge of your business and we will help you structure your affairs to maximise profits/minimise costs and protect and strengthen your income.
